Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites Welcomes New Members to its Board of Trustees <\/strong><\/p>\n

BETHLEHEM, PA\u2014Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites (HBMS), the Bethlehem-based nonprofit focused on historic preservation, education and community enrichment, is pleased to welcome three new members to its Board of Trustees. Kimberly J. Detwiler, Larry Eighmy and Joe Schomburg will all serve three-year terms on the 36-member board, which is responsible for the overall governance and direction of the organization.<\/p>\n

Kimberly Detwiler<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A resident of Harleysville, Detwiler has over 25 years of experience in reputation management, strategic planning, public relations, communications, employee engagement, marketing, community outreach, special events and philanthropy. She currently serves as a Regional Marketing Director for St. Luke\u2019s University Health Network, where she is responsible for all marketing and public relations efforts to support the Network\u2019s Central Region, which includes St. Luke\u2019s University Hospital\u2013Bethlehem, more than one dozen major service lines and specialty areas, and St. Luke\u2019s educational programs.<\/p>\n

Larry Eighmy<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Eighmy is the founder and Managing Principal of The Stone House Group, which focuses on strengthening the mission of educational institutions through strategic planning. The Bethlehem resident has extensive experience in the fields of finance, facilities and operations management, with focused expertise in institutional and nonprofit finance. He has served as the treasurer of Moravian Academy and Chair of the Board of the Sustainable Energy Fund, and he currently serves on the Advisory Committee of the SouthSide Arts District in Bethlehem. Eighmy also oversaw the renovation of the Flatiron Building, a historic building in south Bethlehem that is home to The Stone House Group\u2019s LEED Gold Certified headquarters.<\/p>\n

Joe Schomburg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Schomburg is the Administrative Leader of Jefferson Musculoskeletal Division (MSK) and Senior Vice President of Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, where he has focused on new initiatives and strategies supporting institute growth. He has extensive experience as a healthcare operations leader working in various models, including private providers, academic faculty practice and integrated care. Prior to joining Jefferson Health\/Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, Schomburg served as Executive Director of the Orthopedic Service Line at Stanford Health Care, where he was responsible for the orthopedic service line, including five ambulatory clinics and 250-plus full-time employees.<\/p>\n
