{"id":14256,"date":"2016-04-19T17:01:24","date_gmt":"2016-04-19T21:01:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=14256"},"modified":"2016-04-19T17:01:24","modified_gmt":"2016-04-19T21:01:24","slug":"open-closet-for-allentown-residents","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=14256","title":{"rendered":"Open Closet for Allentown Residents"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allentown, PA. &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0The National Honor Society at William Allen High School is hosting an <strong><em>Open Closet<\/em><\/strong> event for the families of Allentown on <strong>Friday, April 22, from 4:30 p.m. \u2013 6:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Residents of Allentown can stop by the school and pick out FREE clothing items and enjoy a snack. The event can be accessed through the school\u2019s gate entrance on Turner Street. There will be two open doors on the left that will lead attendees to the Cafeteria.<\/p>\n<p>The National Honor Society holds clothing drives throughout the year and has collected a nice assortment of spring and summer seasonal clothing items in a variety of sizes. Of course, the Society is still collecting clothing donations and will gratefully accept any items during the Open Closet event.<\/p>\n<p>Open Closet is <strong>Free<\/strong> and open to the entire community.<\/p>\n<p>William Allen High School is located at 106 North 17th Street in Allentown.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Allentown School District<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ASD serves more than 16,000 students in a network of 22 early childhood, elementary, middle and high schools located throughout the City of Allentown, PA.
