Full Schedule, Film Synopses for 2025 SouthSide Film Festival Announced<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bethlehem, PA:<\/strong>\u00a0The complete schedule for the 2025 SouthSide Film Festival, including genre blocks and synopses of all 85 films, is now available at\u00a0ssff.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The opening-night film, screening at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, will be the Irish feature\u00a0Four Mothers<\/em>, a comedic look at an ambitious novelist struggling to balance his career with caring for his elderly mother.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s roster will include a skateboarding film block screening at PBS 39, cohosted by SSFF and Homebase Skate Shop, which includes the documentary\u00a0Pipe Dream<\/em>\u00a0about the Quakertown Skatepark. The July 12, 7:20 p.m. screening of these films will include live skateboarding demos on the PBS 39 plaza.<\/p>\n

Other festival highlights include\u00a025 Cats from Qatar\u00a0<\/em>by the director of award-winning SSFF favorite\u00a0Cat Daddies<\/em>, which documents a globe-spanning animal welfare effort; a Pride Month series screening at Touchstone Theater (June 12); and a block celebrating Juneteenth, screening at PBS 39 (June 14).<\/p>\n

The closing night film, screening at Cathedral Church of the Nativity, will be\u00a0Beyond the Gaze: Jule Campbell\u2019s Swimsuit Issue<\/em>, chronicles the career of pioneering feminist photographer Campbell, who photographed for the issue for 32 years. The screening will be followed by a closing-night party at the Goosey Gander beginning at 9 p.m.<\/p>\n

Digital all-access passes ($65 or $50 for seniors\/students) are available for purchase at\u00a0https:\/\/filmfreeway.com\/SouthSideFilmFestivalBethlehemPA\/tickets<\/a>. Filmgoers with the passes will have access to all film screenings, as well as opening and closing night parties (food included, cash bar).<\/p>\n

All-access passes, as well as $10 individual film block tickets, can also be purchased at Deja Brew Coffeehouse and Deli at 101 W. 4th<\/sup>\u00a0Street, Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

Venues for SSFF 2025 will include Touchstone Theater, Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas, and the PBS 39 Building.<\/p>\n
