As part of the application process, students were asked to submit a short video responding to the question, \u201cHow does renewable energy affect your future?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe applications submitted by this year\u2019s awardees showcased not only academic excellence but also remarkable creativity and passion,\u201d said Sarah Slusser, CEO of Cypress Creek. \u201cWe are incredibly proud to recognize these outstanding students and have no doubt their futures are bright.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Energizing Tomorrow\u2019s Leaders scholarship program was launched in 2023 to positively impact young people in the communities where Cypress Creek develops and operates solar and battery storage projects, as well as to encourage students to consider careers in renewable energy or other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) fields.
