Jeanne McNeill announced today that state funds totaling $1.5 million has been awarded to the Lehigh Valley International Airport in the 133<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0Legislative District.<\/p>\n<p>The Lehigh Valley International Airport will use the $1.5 million in state funding to construct a parking structure to enhance terminal commercial development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn many instances, a large portion of an airport\u2019s total revenue is related to commercial development,\u201d McNeill said. \u201cThis funding will not only lead to an increase in dollars generated for the airport, but it will also create jobs during the deck\u2019s construction and from the resultant businesses it will support. This is great news for Lehigh Valley International Airport, the people in my district, and to the entire Lehigh Valley.
