BREINIGSVILLE, PA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 A thrilling night of international track cycling unfolded at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center as the\u00a0Festival of Speed<\/strong>\u00a0brought together elite sprinters and endurance specialists from across North America and beyond. The event delivered world-class racing under the lights, with highlight wins in the Keirin, Elimination, Flying Mile, and Rider of the Year events.<\/p>\n

In the\u00a0Men\u2019s Keirin Final<\/strong>,\u00a0Geneway Tang<\/strong>\u00a0(Torrance, CA) surged ahead of the pack with a 200m time of 10.853 seconds (66.3 km\/h) to take the win over\u00a0Dylan Day<\/strong>\u00a0(Star Track \/ Leamington, UK) and\u00a0William Munday<\/strong>\u00a0(Great Britain \/ Star Track).<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Women\u2019s Keirin Final<\/strong>\u00a0saw\u00a0McKenna McKee<\/strong>\u00a0(Tessacrat \/ Vancouver, WA), the\u00a0reigning U.S. National Champion<\/strong>, reaffirm her title with a commanding performance, ahead of\u00a0Mandy Marquardt<\/strong>\u00a0(Edge Cycling \/ Allentown, PA) and\u00a0Olivia Ray<\/strong>\u00a0(Star Track \/ Auckland, NY).<\/p>\n

UCI Elimination Races Bring Tactical Showdowns<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the\u00a0Women\u2019s Elimination Final<\/strong>,\u00a0Colleen Gulick<\/strong>\u00a0(Team Skyline – Cadence \/ Long Beach, CA) used expert positioning to outlast the field, followed by\u00a0Julianna Rutecki<\/strong>\u00a0(Bike Works p\/b Fred Beans \/ West Chester, PA) and\u00a0Reagen Pattishall<\/strong>\u00a0(Turbo Velo Pickle Juice \/ Breinigsville, PA).<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Men\u2019s Scratch Race<\/strong>\u00a0was won by\u00a0John Borstelmann<\/strong>\u00a0(Ventum \/ San Luis Obispo, CA), with\u00a0Liam Trepte<\/strong>\u00a0(TEAMBSR Trade Team \/ Greenville, PA) and\u00a0Preston Eye<\/strong>\u00a0(Team Flicker \/ Suwanee, GA) earning podium spots in a race that averaged 50.6 km\/h.<\/p>\n

Though no new track record was set, the\u00a0Flying 1 Mile Finals<\/strong>\u00a0delivered crowd-pleasing speed.<\/p>\n

Olivia Ray<\/strong>\u00a0(Star Track \/ Auckland, NY) won the\u00a0Women\u2019s Flying 1 Mile<\/strong>, with\u00a0Reagen Pattishall<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Colleen Gulick<\/strong>\u00a0taking second and third.<\/p>\n

In the\u00a0Men\u2019s Flying 1 Mile<\/strong>,\u00a0Liam Trepte<\/strong>\u00a0(TEAMBSR Trade Team \/ Greenville, PA) posted a time of\u00a01:45 at 54.7 km\/h<\/strong>\u00a0to take the win.
