Highlights of this summer\u2019s lineup include appearances from beloved mascots\u2014<strong>the LV IronPigs, MeLVin from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms<\/strong>, and performances by local artists and professionals.<\/p>\n<p>Each week at Camp Camelot is built around a unique theme, incorporating guest speakers, crafts, group activities, and life-skills lessons to promote <strong>confidence, independence, and social connection<\/strong>. Carefully designed to be accessible to children with a wide range of needs and abilities, the camp fosters belonging and joy in a way that is truly transformational.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate and community partners from <strong>St. Luke\u2019s University Health Network, Erie Insurance, Trinity Life Sciences, Cedar Crest College, LCCC Nursing<\/strong>, and many others will join forces with volunteers to ensure a memorable, inclusive experience for every camper.<\/p>\n<p>Camelot\u2019s summer programming is rooted in <strong>health equity<\/strong>\u2014ensuring that all children, regardless of income, ability, or background, can access safe, joyful opportunities to play, learn, and grow. Through inclusive play spaces, health education workshops, nutritious meals and snacks, and a compassionate community of support, Camp Camelot is a model for how summer enrichment can bridge the gap in wellness and opportunity for children with medical or developmental needs.<\/p>\n<p>Success will be measured not just in numbers, but in <strong>smiles, friendships, increased confidence<\/strong>, and in the countless stories shared by families and volunteers. The goal for 2025 is to maintain an average of <strong>50 children participating in each camp event<\/strong>, while also <strong>growing the teen and adult volunteer base<\/strong>, whose leadership and compassion are at the heart of Camelot\u2019s mission.<\/p>\n<p>A cornerstone of the Lehigh Valley community since 1985, Camelot for Children continues to <strong>enrich the lives of children with special needs<\/strong> through free, year-round programming that inspires growth, connection, and hope.
