The whimsical brew, inspired by summertime thrills and sweet celebrations, will be available across the Lehigh Valley, including inside Dorney Park<\/em><\/p>\n

ALLENTOWN, Pa. \u2014 June 27, 2025 \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom<\/a>, in continued partnership with\u00a0Illumination Brewing<\/a>, is excited to announce the debut of\u00a0FUNKEL CAKE<\/strong>, a new limited-edition craft beer that blends nostalgic dessert flavors with summertime refreshment.<\/p>\n

Following the success of\u00a0Iron Menace Lager<\/strong>\u00a0in 2024\u2014released to celebrate the park\u2019s record-breaking dive roller coaster, this year\u2019s collaboration takes a lighter, more playful turn. FUNKEL CAKE is a golden ale with subtle notes of vanilla and powdered sugar, inspired by the classic funnel cake enjoyed by park guests every summer.<\/p>\n

Brewed under the Funk Brewing brand, FUNKEL CAKE is a sweet golden stout with hints of fried dough-y goodness\u2014perfect for cooling off after a ride or during a festival day in the park.<\/p>\n

FUNKEL CAKE will be available starting this weekend to those 21 and over exclusively at Dorney Park and Illumination Tap Rooms.<\/p>\n

This marks the second consecutive year of collaboration between Dorney Park and Illumination Brewing, building on a shared commitment to local flavor, creativity, and unforgettable guest experiences.<\/p>\n
