The\u00a0<em>Open Doors Endowment Campaign<\/em>, which is the most ambitious fundraising effort in the Agency\u2019s history, will develop long-term sustainable funding to support:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emergency needs of youth and families &#8211; food, clothing, transportation, case management and mental health counseling, emergency shelter and housing.<\/li>\n<li>Quality cutting-edge, research-based programs that deliver life-changing results &#8211; general operations, match requirements, infrastructure, quality assurance processes and capacity building programs.<\/li>\n<li>Capital Improvements &#8211; ongoing repairs and general maintenance for properties.<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to be innovative and help more youth and families who need it most.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cLaunched in honor of our 50th anniversary, the\u00a0<em>Open Doors Endowment Campaign<\/em>\u00a0is a bold step toward securing the future of Valley Youth House as a lasting place of safety, healing, and hope,\u201d said Tom Harrington, President &amp; Executive Director of Valley Youth House, \u201cOur mission is to ensure that the doors of Valley Youth House remain open to every young person in need\u2013so that no one is ever left without the stability, guidance, and care they deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since 1973, individuals in our communities who care deeply about young people have demonstrated extraordinary generosity to make Valley Youth House\u2019s work possible. Because of that steady commitment, the organization has impacted more than 481,000 lives through its continuum of services\u2013from preventative in-home and school-based therapy to street outreach, emergency shelter and supportive housing.
