The announcement came last week as the PNMA announced its annual winners among radio, television, and print media outlets in the Commonwealth. WDIY was recognized for its news reporting, podcasts, and online presence.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These prestigious honors celebrate the journalists and newsrooms across Pennsylvania who go above and beyond to inform, inspire and uphold the First Amendment,&#8221; the PNMA said in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PNAnews\/posts\/pfbid02tcVRRmNnUb9M3arthD1oFQBE7UGC8qNkGLBC7WcQLHEnN8pBtNwqK9cEdG4zhUSAl?__cft__%5b0%5d=AZX3PKWp47lRI_Ynj8gXbluxwMueaVxhJeckCrg5Z4lCr_-jtzIL6AJ1fB5Czs0RLu6XyVY7wFDCFxGawMjPzgXw8JI9SIJ-DjbcbUohkLiuQwkXmDVI_6Q6usBPFNDZiJrnYdNsTECAy1wY2SDmeuiIC3T-yxqvo105cTnSKVAEvfuYgCz-Ca41xcR8twpxH26JII5n2UALKkd7o__MMGWr&amp;__tn__=%2CO%2CP-R\">an announcement on Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>WDIY&#8217;s awards were in the Radio II division that includes all radio stations throughout the Commonwealth outside of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<p>The station&#8217;s wins include placing first in 7 categories, as well as being named &#8216;Outstanding News Operation&#8217; for the Radio II division.
