<\/span>Lehigh Valley Health Network Takes Gold in High-Energy Corporate Challenge at T-Town<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trexlertown, PA \u2013 July 19, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 The Friday Night Under the Lights series delivered another electric evening at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center as local pride, world-class speed, and heartfelt purpose all shared the stage.<\/p>\n

In the fan-favorite Corporate Challenge, teams from Buckeye Pipeline and Valley Preferred went head-to-head in a newly formatted 3-rider, 6-lap relay covering 2km. In the final round, it was Valley Preferred\u00a01 who took the top step of the podium, edging out their counterparts from Valley Preferred\u00a02. Buckeye 1 took bronze in a competitive bronze final against Buckeye 2.<\/p>\n

Jamie Alvord Breaks Flying Kilo Record in Ride for Team Arnav Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n

The night\u2019s most emotional and inspiring moment came as\u00a0Jamie Alvord<\/strong>\u00a0of Edge Cycling launched into the\u00a0Flying Kilo Record Attempt<\/strong>\u2014and delivered in spectacular fashion. Racing in honor of his former teammate\u00a0Arnav Krishna<\/strong>, Alvord crossed the line in\u00a01:01.3<\/strong>, shaving one-tenth of a second off the long-standing track record of 1:01.4 set by Travis Smith in 2005.<\/p>\n

The ride raised awareness and support for the\u00a0Team Arnav Foundation<\/strong>, which funds research and support for children battling\u00a0pediatric osteosarcoma<\/strong>, the cancer that claimed Arnav\u2019s life.<\/p>\n
