Together, these two beloved Lehigh Valley brands are launching a merchandise line and theme night that is just as sweet as the timeless, delicious cinnamon flavor that has been satisfying America\u2019s sweet tooth for generations!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost people think I came to the Lehigh Valley in 2008 because of my role with the IronPigs. In fact, it was because I learned that HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup> <\/strong>are born every day here,\u201d said IronPigs President and General Manager Kurt Landes. \u201cI believe the baseball term \u2018hot corner\u2019 originated when a 3<sup>rd<\/sup> baseman was chewing HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup> <\/strong>instead of sunflower seeds. Baseball and HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup> <\/strong>just go together perfectly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to partner with the IronPigs to celebrate 75 years of bringing bold, sweet and spicy cinnamon flavor to fans across the country,\u201d said Zack Greenfield, Brand Manager of HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong>. \u201cThis collaboration brings two proud Lehigh Valley institutions together in a fun, flavorful way that baseball fans and candy lovers alike can enjoy\u2014both at the ballpark and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup> <\/strong>x \u2018PIGS collab features a full line of co-branded merchandise including caps, shirts and jerseys. The soon-to-be fan-favorite jerseys and tees blend the two iconic brands, taking the familiar flames and fiery red tones of HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup> <\/strong>and joining them with elements of the IronPigs brand.<\/p>\n<p>The IronPigs wordmark gets a spicy twist in the HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup> <\/strong>font while the \u2018Pig head logo is reimagined in a HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup> <\/strong>version. The jersey features a special \u201875 years of HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae\u2019<\/sup> <\/strong>logo on the right sleeve plus the brand crossover logo on the right sleeve. Caps will showcase the familiar \u2018Pigs logo in a bold HOT TAMALES<strong><sup>\u00ae<\/sup> <\/strong>style.
