{"id":144234,"date":"2025-08-05T14:51:48","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T18:51:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=144234"},"modified":"2025-08-05T14:51:48","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T18:51:48","slug":"valor-clinic-foundation-announces-annual-patriots-ball-fundraiser","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=144234","title":{"rendered":"VALOR CLINIC FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES ANNUAL PATRIOTS BALL FUNDRAISER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>VALOR Clinic Foundation is excited to announce its annual fundraising gala, \u201cThe Patriots Ball,\u201d taking place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM at Skytop Lodge in Skytop, PA.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thousands of Veterans in our area cannot make ends meet because they are suffering from injuries and\/or illnesses they received fighting for our country and our freedom. <strong>VALOR is an IRS registered 501(c)3 non-profit charity based in Brodheadsville, PA and our focus is to help these Veterans.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Patriots Ball is one of our major fundraisers. <strong>All proceeds go directly to help Veterans <\/strong>through VALOR\u2019s programs that assist struggling Veterans accessing benefits, securing shelter\/food, and providing long-lasting Post Traumatic Stress resources.<\/p>\n<p>Last year we delivered over 45,000 meals to Veterans and their families through our <strong>Holiday Meals program <\/strong>during the holidays. We also run a 13-bed transitional home called <strong>Paul\u2019s House<\/strong>, in honor of Major Paul Syverson to assist homeless veterans. Paul\u2019s House has a 95% success rate breaking the cycle of chronic homelessness.<\/p>\n<p>VALOR also facilitates a <strong>Veteran Peer to Peer counseling program <\/strong>called <strong>Veterans Unstoppable, <\/strong>which helps our Veterans transition from the military and cope with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), relationships, financial and social media issues. We have had zero suicides among the Veteran\u2019s Unstoppable program participants while the national average is 22 per day.<\/p>\n<p>We are also accepting items for the silent auction. Monetary gifts are always appreciated.
