The community is encouraged to attend these sessions and participate in the discussion.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, nonprofit hospitals are required to conduct a CHNA every three years to maintain tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The goal of the assessment is to identify critical health disparities faced by populations within St. Luke\u2019s service areas. The assessments reflect health priorities identified by community stakeholders, hospital professionals and public health experts.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, regional implementation plans are developed to build collaborative partnerships that support the allocation of resources to address the specified health needs.<\/p>\n<p>St. Luke\u2019s will be presenting the CHNA community meetings at the following dates and times.
