Easton, PA\u00a0\u00a0–\u00a0August 23, 2025 –\u00a0On the Domestic Run, in partnership with\u00a0Angels of Easton Hands Helping Hands, The Covid-Tier Foundation Inc., Ky Kitchen and Posh Cove, is excited to host a\u00a0free Back to School Festival\u00a0for families across the Lehigh Valley. Due to unforeseen circumstances the time and location of tomorrow’s supply giveaway have been changed.<\/p>\n
A day designed to help families prepare for the school year while enjoying a day of fun and community connection. It will take place on\u00a0Saturday, August 23, from 1 PM to 5 PM\u00a0at\u00a0The Easton Neighborhood Center 901 Washington St, Easton<\/p>\n
This free family-friendly event features:<\/p>\n
A free pool party (participants must bring swimwear)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Free food and kid-friendly activities<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
A back-to-school backpack supply giveaway for students in need<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
In advance of the event, a\u00a0School Supply Drive\u00a0is running now through\u00a0August 20. Donations can be dropped at locations in\u00a0Allentown,\u00a0Bethlehem, and\u00a0Easton.<\/p>\n
Requested supplies include:<\/p>\n
Backpacks, K\u201312 sizes (new)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, colored pencils<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Folders, binders, glue sticks, rulers, erasers<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Highlighters, index cards, scissors<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Hygiene products (toothpaste, deodorant, hand sanitizer, etc)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Lunchboxes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
