{"id":144568,"date":"2025-08-26T22:42:03","date_gmt":"2025-08-27T02:42:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=144568"},"modified":"2025-08-26T22:42:03","modified_gmt":"2025-08-27T02:42:03","slug":"chilifest-in-bethlehems-southside-arts-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=144568","title":{"rendered":"ChiliFest in Bethlehem&#8217;s SouthSide Arts District"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bethlehem, PA (August 26, 2025)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 Celebrating nearly three decades of flavor and community, Bethlehem\u2019s annual\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/southsideartsdistrict.com\/chilifest&quot; \\t &quot;_blank\">ChiliFest<\/a>\u00a0returns on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the city\u2019s SouthSide Arts District.<\/p>\n<p>ChiliFest invites chili lovers from across the Lehigh Valley to spend an afternoon sampling bold, creative recipes crafted by SouthSide restaurants, bars, and businesses. Admission is $35 and includes a trail pass for tastings at all participating locations plus a 2025 Commemorative ChiliFest Spoon\u2014designed to be used along the trail.<\/p>\n<p>Passholders are encouraged to taste every chili and cast their vote for the People\u2019s Choice Chili Award by scanning the QR code on their event pass. A panel of special guest judges will also crown the Judge\u2019s Choice Chili Award winner.<\/p>\n<p>The chili trail opens at 12:00 PM with tastings running until 4:00 PM. Winners will be announced at 4:30 PM outside Molly\u2019s Irish Grille &amp; Sports Pub (4 East 4th Street, Bethlehem). The day will also feature live music and a local makers trail. The\u00a0full list of participating locations will be announced soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Passes are available online at:<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/southsideartsdistrict.com\/chilifest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">southsideartsdistrict.com\/chilifest<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Passes must be picked up in person at the SouthSide Arts District Office. Guests who bring a nonperishable food donation when picking up their passes will receive a full day of free parking in the New Street Garage, courtesy of the Bethlehem Parking Authority.
