This long-standing tradition has become one of the county\u2019s most anticipated fall events, bringing together business leaders, community partners, and golf enthusiasts from not just Carbon County, but also from the Lehigh Valley and Monroe County for a day of competition, camaraderie, and support for local economic growth.<\/p>\n<p>The day begins with registration and breakfast at 8:00 AM, where golfers will receive their welcome bags, mingle with fellow participants, and have the chance to purchase contest packages, raffle tickets, and 50\/50 tickets. The tournament officially tees off at 9:00 AM with a shotgun start.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will enjoy a full day of golf with green and cart fees included, along with on-course refreshments and exciting contests such as Hole-in-One, Pot-o-Gold, Longest Drive, and Bottle Bonanza. On-course vendors will also provide interactive games, giveaways, drinks, and snacks to keep the energy high throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p>The event concludes with a luncheon and awards ceremony, where prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams, as well as the Best Jack &amp; Jill (co-ed) team.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to welcome golfers back for the 19th Annual Sturm Cup,\u201d said Kylie Adams-Weiss, SVP of the Carbon Chamber &amp; Economic Development Corporation. \u201cThis tournament is more than just a great day on the greens \u2013 it\u2019s a chance to build connections, celebrate our business community, and directly support the Chamber\u2019s mission of strengthening Carbon County\u2019s economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The CCEDC is still accepting golfers, sponsorships, and raffles for this year\u2019s event.
