The Bach Choir of Bethlehem is proud to announce a special concert and dinner fundraiser with internationally acclaimed pianist and composer\u202fDan Tepfer\u202fon\u202fSaturday, October 4, 2025 at 5:00 PM\u202fat\u202fthe Musikfest Caf\u00e9 at the ArtsQuest Center\u202fin Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

Tepfer will perform his celebrated project\u202fInventions\/Reinventions<\/em>, interweaving J.S. Bach\u2019s Two-Part Inventions with his own improvisations to complete the cycle across all 24 keys. The evening includes a cocktail reception, intimate performance, and a curated three-course dinner.\u202fTickets are $225 (including a $75 charitable contribution).\u202fProceeds benefit the Bach Choir\u2019s\u202fYouth Education and Community Engagement programs.<\/p>\n

Tepfer, known for boundary-crossing projects like\u00a0Goldberg Variations\/Variations<\/em>\u00a0and Natural Machines, has performed at the prestigious Bachfest Leipzig and approaches Bach as a living partner in dialogue. In\u00a0Inventions\/Reinventions<\/em>, he performs Bach\u2019s original Two-Part Inventions and adds his own improvisations in the \u201cmissing\u201d keys, creating a complete 24-key journey that is both historically grounded and boldly contemporary.<\/p>\n
