What a beautiful night, and right before a full moon. It was a fabulous evening. Radiohead has been a staple in the galaxies since 1985. Songs like, “Exit Music,” “Creep,” “Fake Plastic Trees” are just a few of the iconic songs that Radiohead has given us over the years. Thom Yorke, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, Philip Selway, and Jonny Greenwood make up the out of this galaxy talent that is Radiohead. The albums are legendary: The Bends (1995), In Rainbows (2007), Pablo Honey (1993), OK Computer (1997), Kid A (2000), Hail to the Thief (2003), Idiot Computer, and more.

The vocals, the songs, the bass, drums, futuristic sounds, they gave us the future just as Mike Patton did while sitting, and eating a sandwich in 1992. He spoke about the future of music, and while casually eating a sandwich.

Radiohead has an incredible discography, and it should be known they made more than one song… Although, YES, “Creep” is a perfect song. A PERFECT SONG. You cannot tell me differently. However, I have never heard anyone sing it like Thom Yorke where I felt moved… Until this beautiful evening at Musikfest Café. I was in TEARS, SOBBBING.

Joe Edelmann on vocals, guitar, and piano, Ben Shin (Who I was able to express a HUGE THANK YOU to after the show. Thank you for listening to me ramble on and on about the perfection of Radiohead, and There, There- A Tribute to Radiohead) on guitars and vocals, Colin Mahoney on drums and percussion, Jay Lynch (WHO KILLED IT!!!) on bass, and Cory Furlong on guitars, vocals and percussion.

I am not sure what planet delivered Joe Edelmann but HOW, HOW, HOW??? His vocals are beautiful, and I feel like I saw Radiohead. I will always say Thom Yorke is one-of-a-kind but tonight we all sang together, we all clapped, we screamed, we cried… We had a blast, and nobody had to be told anything. That is the first time in a long time, I have been to a show where the band did not have to do anything, EVERYONE in the crowd knew. They were prepared.

I think we all appreciated the variety of songs that There, There performed. It was not just the popular songs; they took us all back to important memories. Music is so vital. It is so important. They performed “Street Fire (Fade Out),” and it was breathtaking like sex that is so good you just don’t want it to ever end.

Thom Yorke’s vocals are distinct, his ability to create, and make such masterful work seems almost impossible that there could even be a cover band but here THERE, THERE comes JUST BREATHTAKING. I felt lost in every song. I felt memories flow back.

The staff was incredible and I must say I wound up with a Photo Pass so, thank you Jennifer LaConte, and Musikfest Café, and all the staff, the VOLUNTEERS. YOU ARE SO BEYOND APPRECIATED. Much love to all the volunteers. I also met Jeannine Edelmann, and Bob from New Jersey. They were so awesome. Bob is a photographer. Everyone was so amazing. The people we sat with and a huge shoutout to my awesome friend, Jeanne who also LOVES music and concerts.

The amazingly talented Christina Ward opened the show. She was fabulous.

The crowd was so full of life. Musikfest Café was ROCKING, and just so full of love, and people who wanted to just have a happy evening. We all walked out together, and some of us were still singing. It was such a beautiful show. If you get a chance to go and see There, There– A Tribute to Radiohead, GO AND SEE THEM. RUN, and SEE THEM. They were beyond incredible. Thank you so much to The Valley Ledger, Musikfest Café, Bethlehem Police, the staff, the amazing people that do so much work, everyone, and maybe “One day, I am gonna grow wings.”

https://www.theretherenyc.com/

https://radiohead.com/

https://www.artsquest.org/steelstacks/

https://www.facebook.com/Christina.Ward.Music/

Review & photo by: Janel Spiegel There, There- A Tribute to Radiohead Saturday, September 6, 2025 MUSIKFEST CAFÉ 101 Founders Way Bethlehem, PA 18015 Bethlehem, PA… How is everybody doing? … Continue reading There, There- A Tribute to Radiohead | Review by: Janel Spiegel →

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[69,2575

post-144759","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-in-the-valley","category-janel-spiegel
