Lehigh County 4-H Members Shine at the Great Allentown Fair<\/strong><\/p>\n

Allentown, PA [August 27 – September 1] Lehigh County 4-H is proud to announce that several members of the Lehigh County Livestock Club received high awards at this year\u2019s Great Allentown Fair, showcasing their hard work and dedication to their livestock. The Lehigh County Livestock Club members have been actively involved in the care, feeding, training, and grooming of their animals, learning valuable life skills. These life skills and experiences prepare the 4-H’ers for future careers within and outside of agriculture.<\/p>\n

The Grand Champion Dairy Beef was exhibited by Olivia Wisser, of New Tripoli and purchased by Bell and Evans and Mr. Bill\u2019s Poultry for $3,000. The Reserve Grand Champion Dairy Beef was exhibited by Samuel Lazarus of Schnecksville and purchased by KC Stoves and Fireplaces for $2,600.<\/p>\n

The Grand Champion Market Lamb was shown by Samuel Lazarus of Schnecksville and purchased by Fulton Bank and Lehigh County Agricultural Society for $975. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb was exhibited by Kamryn Fink of Germansville, in her final year of 4-H, and purchased by Bell & Evans for $1,100.<\/p>\n

The Grand Champion Market Goat and Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat were exhibited by Emily Laudenslager of Allentown. The champion was purchased by Art\u2019s Service Center and the Mill in Germansville for $1,000 and the reserve champion was purchased by Johnson Horse Transportation and Stone Ridge Landscaping for $925.<\/p>\n

The Grand Champion Market Hog was exhibited by Samuel Lazarus of Schnecksville and was purchased by Bell and Evans for $1,300. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Hog was exhibited by Kamryn Fink of Germansville and purchased by Heidel Hollow Farms and Ironton Telephone for $1,800.<\/p>\n

The Grand Champion Market Beef was exhibited by Faith Smith of New Tripoli and purchased by Bell and Evans, Fulton Bank, and Mr. Bill\u2019s Poultry for $5,200. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb was exhibited by Ethan Brozman of Nazareth and purchased by Johnson Horse Transportation, Christman\u2019s Septic Service, and Hawk Valley Landscape Materials for $4,800.<\/p>\n
