Tempro has been with the Allentown School District since 2002. During the 2015-2016 school year, he was the GEAR-UP Academic Coach for the fall and in February moved to become the Math Teacher at Building 21 Allentown High School. Prior to that assignment, he taught Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry (2010-2015) at William Allen High School; Algebra I and Algebra II at Trexler Middle School (2003-2010); and was a salaried substitute at Harrison-Morton Middle School (2002-2003).<\/p>\n
Although the results of the competition cannot be revealed \u2013 viewers will have to watch the show, Tempro enjoyed the competition and educational comradery during this experience.<\/p>\n
The teachers were competing for a $100,000 grand prize and a spot in the next JEOPARDY! Tournament of Champions<\/em><\/strong>. Additionally, Farmers Insurance, through its Thank America\u2019s Teachers program, has presented each contestant with a $2,500 educational grant to fund classroom projects. Jeopardy!<\/em><\/strong> holds the Guinness World Records\u00ae title for the most Emmy\u00ae Awards won by a TV game show (32 Emmys), including the 2015 Emmy\u00ae for Outstanding Game Show.
