{"id":145486,"date":"2025-10-07T22:00:20","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T02:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=145486"},"modified":"2025-10-07T22:00:20","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T02:00:20","slug":"voter-services-for-the-2025-municipal-general-election","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=145486","title":{"rendered":"Voter Services for the 2025 Municipal General Election"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Northampton County Elections Office announces that voter services for the Tuesday, November 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Municipal General Election will be available starting Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Northampton County Elections Office (Government Center, 669 Washington Street, Lower Level, Easton, PA 18042) &amp; the Northampton Community College, Fowler Center (511 E 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0Street, Room 411, Bethlehem, PA 18015).<\/p>\n<p>Northampton County Elections Office is offering extended hours for on-demand mail-in ballot voting and all other voter services according to the following schedule:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Friday, October 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 Friday, October 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(8:30 am \u2013 6:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Saturday, October 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(9:00 am \u2013 12:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Monday, October 13<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 Friday, October 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(8:30 am &#8211; 6:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Saturday, October 18<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(9:00 am \u2013 12:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>The LAST day to Register to Vote will be Tuesday, October 21<sup>st<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Monday, October 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 Friday, October 24<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(8:30 am \u2013 6:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Saturday, October 25<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(9:00 am \u2013 12:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Monday, October 27<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(8:30 \u2013 6:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>The LAST day for Ballot-on-Demand will be Tuesday, October 28th (8:30 am &#8211; 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Residents in Northampton County can visit our satellite elections office for specific voter services on the following dates at the Fowler Center:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Friday, October 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0(9:00 am \u2013 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, October 7<sup>th<\/sup>, Wednesday, October 8<sup>th<\/sup>, Friday, October 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(9:00 am \u2013 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, October 14<sup>th<\/sup>, Wednesday, October 15<sup>th<\/sup>, Friday, October 17<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(9:00 am \u2013 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>The LAST day to Register to Vote will be Tuesday, October 21<sup>st<\/sup><\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, October 21<sup>st<\/sup>, Wednesday, October 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, Friday, October 24<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>(9:00 am &#8211; 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, October 28<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0(9:00 am \u2013 5:00 pm)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At the Elections Office in Easton, voters may register if they still need to, complete a ballot application, have it processed immediately, and receive a ballot over the counter. Voters can then either fill out their ballot in the office and return it the same day, or take it home to return later by mail (postage prepaid) or by using one of the seven secure Ballot Drop Boxes throughout the County.<\/p>\n<p>At the Fowler Center, voters may also register and complete a ballot application to receive a ballot immediately. However, completed ballots cannot be accepted at Fowler. Voters must return their ballot by mail, by using one of the secure County Ballot Drop Boxes (including the one located in the Fowler lobby), or by delivering it directly to the Elections Office in Easton.<\/p>\n<p>You must bring a valid ID with you to the Elections Office to receive a ballot. The County\u2019s seven secure ballot drop-off boxes will be installed as of October 3, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Registered voters who have already applied for a mail-in ballot ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to apply for a mail-in ballot in person and must wait to receive their ballot in the mail.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure that your mail-in ballot is accepted:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Your ballot\u00a0MUST BE\u00a0enclosed in the\u00a0YELLOW\u00a0secrecy envelope and sealed;<\/li>\n<li>Do\u00a0NOT\u00a0write anywhere on the\u00a0YELLOW\u00a0envelope. There can be\u00a0NO\u00a0identifying marks or symbols;<\/li>\n<li>The\u00a0\u00a0PURPLE\u00a0return envelope must be signed and dated on the back in the appropriate\u00a0YELLOW\u00a0boxes;<\/li>\n<li>The ballot must be returned to the Election\u2019s Office NO LATER THAN 8:00 pm on Election night, November 4, 2025.
