October 7, 2025 \u2013 The City of Allentown has completed a comprehensive update and digitization of more than 2,000 property records across the city\u2019s three historic districts: Old Fairgrounds, Old Allentown, and West Park.<\/p>\n
This initiative enhances the preservation and accessibility of Allentown\u2019s architectural history, ensuring that detailed records of the city\u2019s historic properties are modernized and available for future generations.<\/p>\n
The public is invited to an open house to review the survey findings:<\/p>\n
\u201cAllentown\u2019s historic districts are a vital part of our city\u2019s identity, and this survey ensures we have an accurate, modernized record of the architectural character that makes our community unique,\u201d said Jennifer Gomez, Director of Allentown\u2019s Bureau of Planning and Zoning. \u201cBy digitizing this information, we\u2019re not only preserving the past but also making it more accessible for future planning, education, and preservation efforts.
