Penn State Lehigh Valley Chancellor Tina Q. Richardson celebrates 10 years of leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n

CENTER VALLEY, Pa.<\/strong> \u2014 Penn State Lehigh Valley Chancellor Dr. Tina Q. Richardson is celebrating 10 years of leadership at the campus, marking a decade of growth, innovation, and student success. Richardson joins 11 additional faculty and staff members who are being recognized this year for their professional milestones ranging from five to 45 years of service to the University.<\/p>\n

During Richardson\u2019s tenure, Penn State Lehigh Valley has experienced steady enrollment trends, significant facility enhancements, and the addition of new academic programs designed to meet regional workforce needs. Among her many accomplishments is the completion of the campus\u2019s $14.4 million building expansion in 2021. The 20,500-square-foot project added modern laboratory space, a dining hall, student lounge, and faculty offices\u2014transforming the campus environment and supporting new opportunities for learning and collaboration.<\/p>\n

Richardson has also championed the creation of in-demand degree pathways, including the campus\u2019s new engineering major, which will be supported by two state-of-the-art laboratories.<\/p>\n

Milestones reflect deep dedication to the University\u2019s mission<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cCelebrating professional milestones is an opportunity to highlight the deep commitment our faculty and staff have for the community, our students, and our special land-grant mission,\u201d said Dr. An\u00edbal Torres, chief academic officer at Penn State Lehigh Valley. \u201cTheir hard work, innovative ideas, and dedication are the heart of our success as a Commonwealth Campus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Faculty and staff recognition is a longstanding Penn State tradition. \u201cPenn State recognizes staff milestones at All-Campus Day, a twice-yearly meeting of the University\u2019s staff at the Lehigh Valley campus,\u201d said Ryan Abramson, director of strategic marketing and communications. \u201cFaculty and staff are presented with unique gifts to honor their service and commitment to the University.\u201d<\/p>\n
