The event welcomed approximately 175 guests, including regional industry insiders and a star-studded guest list featuring NFL Eagles running back Saquon Barkley\u2019s mother Tonya \u201cMama B\u201d Johnson, Franklin Hill Vineyards founder Elaine Pivinski, and designer-purse aficionado Ilene Rosenthal Hochberg Wood, all eager to toast the season\u2019s fashion.<\/p>\n<p>The show opened with \u201cSpring Flight,\u201d a couture gown first revealed at the Michael Ann &amp; Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation\u2019s\u00a0<em>Hurdles for Hope<\/em>\u00a0gala on November 1 at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Guests enjoyed libations from F &amp; A Groghouse and hors d\u2019oeuvres from Zest as one jewel-toned ensemble after another sashayed down the runway, embodying Bly\u2019s signature blend of luxurious textures and rich jewel tones. The atmosphere was electric, as rich velvets, sculpted feathers, and three-dimensional floral appliqu\u00e9s turned winter\u2019s darkness into a joyful celebration of color.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis season is about embracing winter\u2019s beauty with bold fabrics and rich hues,\u201d said Lara Bly.\u00a0 \u201cI love how these jewel tones glow even in the middle of a cold evening. If winter is a dark canvas, then our clothes are the brushstrokes of light.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSpring Flight\u201d and other Eagles inspired couture fashions mark another chapter in Bly\u2019s ongoing creative connection to the Barkley family.
