This year, there are many new custom items to put under the tree or send to your loved ones who can\u2019t make it home to Bethlehem this holiday season. \u201cWe went custom crazy this year,\u201d said JoAnn Haines, the Director of Hotel Decor and Retail Operations. \u201cPeople are tired of cheap online junk and big box store plastic. They want quality gifts with meaning from places they love. And boy do we have a lot of them. There\u2019s a canvas print of the Star of Bethlehem r gleaming over Bethlehem\u2019s Central Moravian Church, hand painted ornaments made in Austria featuring the hotel, and tins of peppermint bark among other goodies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Annual collectible ornament now available<\/strong><br \/>\nCollectors look forward to Historic Hotel Bethlehem\u2019s annual ornament release every year. Since 2011, artist Peter Preiss has handpainted holiday hotel scenes. This year\u2019s ornaments feature the local icon dusted with snow and the Star of Bethlehem in an icy blue sky.<\/p>\n<p>The annual collectible peppermint bark tin is also available while supplies last. It features artwork from local photographer Chris Fiegel and candy from Bazzini, a Lehigh Valley confectioner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Light up canvas prints feature classic Bethlehem holiday scenes<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>The Shoppe is also offering light up canvases that highlight nighttime Bethlehem scenes. There\u2019s the Central Moravian Church with the Star of Bethlehem shining in a midnight sky, a classic horse and carriage out front of Historic Hotel Bethlehem, and a festive view of Main Street. \u201cSince USA Today named Bethlehem\u2019s Main Street the best one in America this year, we wanted to highlight that for sure,\u201d said Haines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shoppe at Historic Hotel Bethlehem Christmas display lights up Main Street<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cVisitors are always excited to see the Shoppe\u2019s Christmas window display and this year\u2019s is just delightful,\u201d said Haines. The window facing Main Street features a lighted angel flying against a star-filled deep blue sky.
