New Dialysis Den Highlights Progressive Care Capabilities<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (Nov. 18, 2025)\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014\u00a0Riverton Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center<\/a>\u00a0celebrated its Grand Reopening and the completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation and modernization at the Riverton continuing care retirement community in Allentown. Close to 125 guests joined leadership of the skilled nursing center,\u00a0Riverton Enhanced Senior Living<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Marquis Health Consulting Services<\/a>, which supports the Riverton campus, at the fall Open House event.<\/p>\n

Event highlights included a Certificate of Recognition by The Office of Congressman Ryan Mackenzie, presented by\u00a0Hannah Douris, operations manager and constituent services representative. Lehigh Valley Health Network\u2019s Jill Ferragame, operations director for Post Acute Care Collaborative, and Kate Huck, vice president of operations at 17th\u202fStreet, led the ribbon cutting ceremony. VIP participants also included State Representative Zach Mako and leadership from dozens of Riverton\u2019s business partners, including regional healthcare providers and nonprofit organizations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat a celebration!\u201d said Danielle Koons, regional vice president of market development, Pennsylvania, for\u00a0Marquis Health Consulting Services<\/a>. \u201cThe Riverton skilled nursing and senior living teams were thrilled to celebrate the Grand Reopening with its guests and show off the renovated Riverton Rehab & Healthcare and its new offerings. Riverton\u2019s modernization aligns with its goal to provide transformative skilled nursing care to the Lehigh Valley community.\u201d<\/p>\n

The final phase of Riverton\u2019s modernization centered on the addition of its recently opened six-chair Dialysis Unit, operating in partnership with Dialyze Direct, one of the nation\u2019s leading providers of home dialysis services in skilled nursing facilities. The new offering complements the center\u2019s Chronic Kidney Disease Management Program.<\/p>\n

Earlier phases of Riverton\u2019s renovation included a new therapy gym, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to support the delivery of progressive rehab services. The gym\u2019s spacious activities of daily living (ADL) suite mimics a home environment with a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Renovations also included updated patient rooms and a new lobby.<\/p>\n

Riverton is located at 803 N.
