The Muhlenberg College\u00a02025 Living Writers Series<\/strong>\u00a0finishes strong on\u00a0Nov. 20<\/strong>\u00a0with a free public reading, discussion, and book signing with playwright\u00a0<\/strong>Branden Jacobs-Jenkins<\/strong>, author of \u201cEverybody.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Branden Jacobs-Jenkins is a Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning playwright based in Brooklyn, New York. Recent theatre credits include \u201cPurpose,\u201d \u201cAppropriate,\u201d \u201cThe Comeuppance,\u201d \u201cGirls,\u201d \u201cEverybody,\u201d \u201cWar,\u201d \u201cGloria,\u201d \u201cAn Octoroon,\u201d and \u201cNeighbors.\u201d He currently teaches at Yale University and serves as vice president of the Dramatists Guild council and on the boards of Soho Rep, Park Avenue Armory, the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, and the Dramatists Guild Foundation. Honors include a USA Artists fellowship, a Guggenheim fellowship, the MacArthur fellowship, the Windham-Campbell Prize for Drama, and the inaugural Tennessee Williams Award.<\/p>\n

All Living Writers Series events are\u00a0free and open to the public<\/strong>\u00a0and will be held at 7 p.m. in Moyer Hall, Miller Forum. Books will be available for purchase and signing after each reading.\u00a0Learn more about the authors on our website.<\/a><\/p>\n
