The grants\u2014$15,000 to each agency\u2014were distributed from the Kidder Township First Responders Fund at the Carbon County Community Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The Kidder Township First Responders Fund was established by Blue Ridge Real Estate Company, which brought together the four agencies to launch the initiative and has continued to lead fundraising efforts. The entire $60,000 awarded this year was raised during the first annual First Responders Golf Tournament, held in September at Jack Frost National Golf Course. Planning is already underway for next year\u2019s tournament, scheduled for September 14, 2026 at Jack Frost National, and community members are encouraged to save the date.<\/p>\n<p>The following agencies each received a $15,000 grant:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Albrightsville Volunteer Fire Company<\/li>\n<li>Lake Harmony Volunteer Fire Company<\/li>\n<li>Lake Harmony Volunteer Rescue Squad &amp; Ambulance<\/li>\n<li>Kidder Township Police Department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cThese agencies are the backbone of safety in Kidder Township,\u201d said Sharon Alexander, President of the Carbon County Community Foundation. \u201cThis year\u2019s grants are a direct result of the community coming together\u2014neighbors, businesses, and partners like Blue Ridge Real Estate Company\u2014who stepped up to support our first responders.
