Five chairlifts will spin on opening day with snow tubing expected to open on Thursday, December 11.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Mountain enters the season with major snowmaking and 380 upgraded LED trail lights giving guests improved snow quality, faster terrain expansion and an enhanced night skiing experience.<\/p>\n<p>Recent upgrades\u00a0include the installation of two TechnoAlpin TT10 tower-mounted fan guns at the base area and two mobile, fully automated TR10 fan guns, all designed to deliver snow more efficiently and effectively. Underground piping enhancements on key trails \u2013 Shuttle, Frontier Alley, Lower Sidewinder, Lower Lazy and Tubing Hill 3 \u2013 have increased water flow and capacity for faster, more consistent coverage.<\/p>\n<p>The snowmaking team has been operating at full capacity, running 275 snow guns during the first sustained cold snap to deliver the strongest early season terrain in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Opening day trails\u00a0include Easy Out, Vista, Burma Road, Shuttle, Barb\u2019s Way, Homestretch, Lower Frontier Alley, Tut\u2019s Lane, Connector, Sky Top, Summit School Hill, Paradise and Central Park (with terrain park features).\u00a0Three additional trails \u2013 Midway, Lower Main Street and Chute \u2013 are expected to open Sunday, December 7.<\/p>\n<p>Opening day lifts\u00a0include Summit Conveyor, Frontier Lower Conveyor, Vista Chair, Comet and Challenge.<\/p>\n<p>Season hours:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>Saturday &amp; Sunday: 8\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/a.m.to\/\">a.m.to<\/a> 9 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s ski offerings return with Slopeside Pub &amp; Grill known for its sweeping mountain views and hearty menu of handcrafted sandwiches, seasonal salads, pizzas, burgers and entr\u00e9es, alongside live music Thursday through Sunday nights.
