Four Local Organizations Receive Funding to Address Critical Community Need<\/strong><\/p>\n

ALLENTOWN, PA \u2013 12\/3 \u2013 The Allentown Rotary Foundation today announced $10,000 in grant awards to four local organizations working to address the ongoing emergency food crisis affecting the community. Each organization will receive $2,500 to support their critical food security initiatives.<\/p>\n

The grant recipients are:
\n\u2022 Lehigh Conference of Churches – Daybreak Program
\n\u2022 Star Community Health Center
\n\u2022 Salvation Army Allentown
\n\u2022 Allentown Area Ecumenical Food Pantry<\/p>\n

“Food security is not just about sustenance\u2014it is the foundation upon which people build their lives, their health, and their futures,” said Rosaria Stoops of the Allentown Rotary Foundation. “We recognize that our neighbors cannot reach their full potential, care for their families, or contribute to our community when they are struggling to meet their most basic nutritional needs.”<\/p>\n

The grants reflect the Foundation’s commitment to making meaningful investments in the community during times of urgent need. The work of these four organizations to combat food insecurity directly aligns with the Foundation’s mission to serve the community and create lasting positive change.<\/p>\n

“We have witnessed the dedication of these organizations and the critical role they play in ensuring that our neighbors do not go hungry,” Rosaria added. “We are honored to support this vital work across multiple fronts in our community.”<\/p>\n

The Allentown Rotary Foundation believes that addressing hunger strengthens the resilience of the entire community. These grants will enable the recipient organizations to continue and expand essential food security services during this challenging time.<\/p>\n
