Applications impressed with innovative initiatives ranging from dynamic well-being programs to creative engagement strategies that inspire and empower employees every day.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>KidsPeace\u2019s recognition platform,\u00a0<em>Kudos4KidsPeace<\/em>, is made available to all employees (known as \u201cassociates\u201d) after orientation. Through the\u00a0<em>Kudos4KidsPeace<\/em>\u00a0website and app, associates can\u00a0<strong>thank and compliment co-workers for their contributions to the care that children and young people receive through KidsPeace\u2019s programs.<\/strong>\u00a0They also can\u00a0<strong>give colleagues \u201cKudos points\u201d &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0which are redeemable for gift cards and branded merchandise through the online platform.<\/p>\n<p>The platform also serves as a resource for corporate news and announcements, recognition of personal milestones like birthdays and work anniversaries, and\u00a0<strong>a forum to share interests in an interactive way<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 such as a popular \u201c<em>Pet Contest<\/em>\u201d in which associates offered photos and stories about their animal companions.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025 KidsPeace saw\u00a0<strong>90% of associates across all programs activate accounts<\/strong>\u00a0on Kudos, and of those more than 60% participate regularly on the platform \u2013 posting, distributing points, and commenting on messages from fellow associates. Participation in\u00a0<em>Kudos4KidsPeace<\/em>\u00a0is cited\u00a0<strong>as a factor in the impressive improvement in retention of nurses and other skilled professionals<\/strong>\u00a0at the organization during the past year.<\/p>\n<p>KidsPeace President and CEO Michael W. Slack credited KidsPeace\u2019s associate engagement group with finding innovative ways to enhance the platform\u2019s capabilities to meet the specific needs of the organization.
