Indie Rock Musicians Colleen Green and Cassie Ramone Are Bringing Their Tour to Bethlehem\u2019s Ice House<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Bethlehem, PA)<\/strong>\u2013 A pair of indie rock musicians are embarking on a joint solo tour of the east coast \u2013 and Bethlehem, PA will be their first stop. Colleen Green, who made a name for herself with album releases on Hardly Art Records, and Cassie Ramone, frontwoman of the band Vivian Girls, will perform solo sets at the Ice House on Tuesday, January 20 with support from Lehigh Valley band Radlands. The show will be the first date in Colleen Green and Cassie Ramone\u2019s east coast tour.<\/p>\n

The show is being organized by IceHouse Punk & DIY, a booking collective who have been hosting live shows at the Ice House in Northside Bethlehem each month since late 2022.<\/p>\n

\nColleen Green<\/strong>
\nColleen Green is a DIY singer-songwriter and visual artist from Lowell, MA.<\/p>\n

Following the release of her classic debut album\u00a0Milo Goes to Compton<\/em>\u00a0in 2010, Green started to make a name for herself in the lo-fi bedroom pop scene of Los Angeles. She soon became known in punk circles across the country for performing alone on stage with nothing more than a drum machine, a pair of sunglasses, and her iconic electric guitar.<\/p>\n

In September of that same year, Green signed with Seattle-based Hardly Art Records, a subsidiary of the legendary Sub Pop label, and went on to release 2015’s\u00a0I Want to Grow Up<\/em>\u00a0which brought her international renown and critical acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, and the New York Times. Following the success of this album, the readers of LA Weekly voted her Best Solo Act of 2015.<\/p>\n

Green’s pride and joy is the full-album cover of blink-182’s\u00a0Dude Ranch<\/em>\u00a0that she released in 2019. The recording has since become beloved by fans of both acts and even led to a guest appearance on Mark Hoppus’s Apple Music radio show.<\/p>\n

She has performed in 20 countries including Brazil, Chile, Japan, Italy, Spain, Poland, Czechia, and Norway.<\/p>\n

The past 10+ years have seen Green continue to grow, learn, and improve, and she hopes to keep following that trajectory indefinitely by staying cool, being nice, and believing in love.<\/p>\n

Cassie Ramone
\n<\/strong> Enigmatic New Jersey-based singer-songwriter\u00a0Cassie Ramone\u00a0<\/em>returns with her new album,\u00a0SWEETHEART<\/em>: a haunting, dynamic, and uniquely genre-defying record. Recorded and produced by long-term collaborator Dylan White in Richmond, VA, during the winter of 2023-2024, the album embodies Cassie\u2019s vivid lyrics and musical versatility. The duo produced the album in its entirety, with the exception of Mac DeMarco, featured on \u201cThe Only Way I Know How.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the frontwoman of the pioneering band Vivian Girls, she inspired many aspiring musicians and left a significant and long-lasting impact on the music world. In 2009, she also formed the indie band The Babies with Kevin Morby. Her steadfast dedication to music and extensive touring solidified her position in the music industry.<\/p>\n

In 2014, Cassie released her solo debut album,\u00a0The Time Has Come<\/em>, a psychedelic folk album she recorded and produced. The album, with Ariel Pink on bass, showcases her unique and introspective lyrics and haunting melodies. She then released\u00a0Christmas in Reno<\/em>\u00a0in 2015, featuring a melancholy take on ten definitive Christmas songs.<\/p>\n

Radlands
\n<\/strong> Radlands are an alternative rock band from Bethlehem formed in 2023. Guitarists Nicholas Dailey and Jacqui Pratt share singing and songwriting duties in the outfit, with each one taking the lead on different songs. The result is a diverse sound grounded in a love of \u201890s-era rock.<\/p>\n

The band released their debut EP\u00a0All Alone<\/em>\u00a0in March of 2023, recorded by Matt Molchany at Shards Recording Studio in Bethlehem. The four songs on the EP showcase a band that can deliver memorable, catchy choruses (\u201cCryptic Logic\u201d), stripped-down mood pieces (\u201cBad Habits\u201d), grunge-inspired, slow burning jams (\u201cSpirit Bored), and explosive instrumentation (\u201cReal Lightning\u201d).<\/p>\n

The mood of Radlands\u2019 music mirrors the cover art of\u00a0All Alone<\/em>\u00a0rather well: a photo taken at dusk in a desolate field with a wood structure ablaze. Dailey and Pratt\u2019s songwriting touch on those things in life that threaten to consume us like the fire in the photo \u2014 from loneliness to destructive vices. And like the day\u2019s fading light in the picture, Radlands\u2019 music has a dark feel to it. A fan on Instagram remarked that one of the band\u2019s recent promo posts for\u00a0All Alone<\/em>\u00a0was \u201cvery Lynchian.\u201d The band replied, \u201cI suppose we have that Lynch vibe completely in our DNA at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fresh off of shows in Bethlehem in 2025 at the city\u2019s Rose Garden bandshell (Live in the Garden<\/em>) and Eskandalo: The Other Side, this will be Radlands\u2019 first live show of the new year.<\/p>\n
