The new exhibit, \u201cKeystone of America\u201d explores the 1826, 1876, 1926, and 1976 celebrations and Pennsylvania\u2019s role in each of the anniversaries. The official unveiling is February 3, 2026, but will remain open for visitors for the remainder of 2026.<\/p>\n<p>This exhibit specifically highlights memorabilia from the 1976 Bicentennial which was held in Philadelphia. Included are the programs and original plans for the General Assembly\u2019s ceremonial session, which was held in front of Independence Hall with Val\u00e9ry Giscard d&#8217;Estaing, President of France, as a guest of honor. The exhibit also showcases clothing on loan from the Fashion Archives and Museum at Shippensburg University and individual collectors to help visitors feel immersed in each of the featured eras.
