The event provides employers an opportunity to honor their teams while fostering cross-industry connections.<\/p>\n<p>On April 9 from 11 AM \u2013 3 PM, the CCEDC will partner with Carbon PA CareerLink\u00ae to present a Career Fair at the Carbon Plaza Mall, connecting job seekers with local employers and workforce partners while supporting regional talent pipelines and hiring efforts. This event is the first of a two-part series, with a second event scheduled for August 20 at Carbon PA CareerLink\u00ae.<\/p>\n<p>Later this spring, on April 28 from 8-11 AM, the CCEDC will host its highly anticipated \u201cLegislative Update: What to Look For in 2026\u201d at Blue Mountain Resort, featuring state and county officials discussing policy issues, economic priorities, and topics impacting the local business community. The program will include a moderated discussion and audience Q&amp;A.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe spring season always brings renewed energy and opportunity for our business community,\u201d said<\/p>\n<p>Kylie Adams-Weiss, Senior Vice President of the Carbon Chamber &amp; Economic Development<\/p>\n<p>Corporation. \u201cThese events are designed to create meaningful connections \u2014 whether between employers and talent, businesses and policymakers, or organizations and new partners. We are excited to bring together leaders from across the region to engage in conversations and initiatives that support economic growth and community vitality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to its signature programs, the CCEDC will offer several upcoming professional development and networking events this spring, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Franchise Ownership Lunch &amp; Learn (March 24) \u2013 An educational program exploring franchise business models and ownership opportunities. Tickets are now available.<\/li>\n<li>Happy Hour Networking Series \u2013 Casual networking events designed to foster business connections, with upcoming gatherings at Thorpe\u2019s 903 on March 19 and Alchemy Lounge on April 16.
