Allentown, Pennsylvania (February 19, 2026) <\/strong>\u2013 Individual tickets are now on sale for \u2018Let Freedom Sing\u2019, a first-of-its-kind musical extravaganza celebrating America\u2019s 250th<\/sup> birthday at Coca-Cola Park on May 27th<\/sup>, 2026 at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

The IronPigs and Bach Choir of Bethlehem have collaborated to bring a choral experience to the community, uniting over 5,000 voices from across the region in celebration of America\u2019s 250th birthday. This event brings together adult, community, and school choirs from the Lehigh Valley and surrounding counties for an unforgettable evening of patriotic music honoring our nation\u2019s history.<\/p>\n

Individual tickets may be purchased at HERE<\/a>. A special \u2018Performance Package\u2019 includes a ticket plus sheet music for the\u00a0entire show for $20!<\/p>\n

In the spirit of America250, this celebration emphasizes connection, pride, and shared heritage. The history and roots of each song will be presented prior to its performance, helping to guide the audience through the historical nature of the evening. The show will be headlined by the Bach Choir of Bethlehem, led by conductor Christopher Jackson. The grand finale will bring all participants together in a powerful community sing-along culminating with a fireworks display.<\/p>\n

Festivities will also include the IronPigs\u2019 signature on-field entertainment. Let Freedom Sing promises to be an example\u00a0of what\u2019s possible when communities unite in celebration.<\/p>\n

About the Bach Choir of Bethlehem<\/h2>\n

Founded in 1898 and comprised of 115 dedicated volunteer singers, the Bach Choir of Bethlehem is the oldest American Bach Choir, performing the first complete U.S. renditions of Bach\u2019s Mass in B Minor <\/em>in 1900 and Christmas Oratorio <\/em>in 1901. Under Artistic Director and Conductor Dr. Christopher Jackson, the choir attracts thousands each year to Bethlehem, PA for its annual Bethlehem Bach Festival. Programming includes over 40 concerts and educational events per year, reaching an audience of more than 22,000 through outreach programs like Bach to School, Bach at Noon,<\/p>\n

interdisciplinary family concerts, and more. The choir\u2019s latest recording, Mendelssohn\/Bach Matth\u00e4us-Passion (2024) <\/em>was released by Analekta, Canada\u2019s largest indie classic label. The Bach Choir\u2019s Bel Canto Youth Chorus, an educational program under the direction of Director Kelly Rocchi, is training the next generation of choral singers and cultivating a life-long passion for the choral arts.
