This annual competition provides high school students across the district with an opportunity to showcase their artistic talent and receive national recognition for their work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery year, students across Lehigh Valley and the Poconos demonstrate incredible creativity through the Congressional Art Competition,\u201d\u00a0<strong>said Congressman Mackenzie<\/strong>. \u201cThis competition is an opportunity for young artists to share their work, represent our community, and receive the recognition they deserve. We encourage all eligible students to participate, and I look forward to seeing the outstanding artwork submitted this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Dates &amp; Submission Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Artwork Submission Drop-Off:<br \/>\n<\/strong>March 23 \u2013 March 28, 2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drop-Off Location:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Baum School of Art<br \/>\n510 W. Linden Street<br \/>\nAllentown, PA 18101<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exhibition Dates:<br \/>\n<\/strong>April 6 \u2013 April 17, 2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accepted Mediums Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Paintings: oil, acrylics, watercolor, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Drawings: colored pencil, pencil, ink, marker, pastels, charcoal<\/li>\n<li>Collages (must be two-dimensional)<\/li>\n<li>Prints: lithographs, silkscreen, block prints<\/li>\n<li>Mixed Media: use of more than two mediums such as pencil, ink, watercolor<\/li>\n<li>Photographs<\/li>\n<li>Computer-generated art<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Teachers and school administrators are encouraged to share this information with students who may be interested in participating.<\/p>\n<p>For more information or any questions regarding the competition, please visit the Congressman\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mackenzie.house.gov\/services\/art-competition\">website<\/a>\u00a0or contact his office at 484-781-6000 or the Baum School of Art at 610-433-0032.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Congressional Art Competition:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Congressional Art Competition, established in 1982, is a nationwide event that allows high school students from all 50 states to demonstrate their artistic abilities.
