Signature Annual Event will Celebrate JLLVPA\u2019s
\nLegacy of Service and Raise Funds to Fuel the Mission<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

March 4, 2026 \u2014 Bethlehem, PA <\/strong>\u2014 The Junior League of the Lehigh Valley (JLLVPA) invites the community for an elevated evening where science meets community impact at Sips & Science: A Party with a Purpose<\/strong>. This adults-only evening of exploration, fun and philanthropy will take place on Saturday, March 21, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. <\/strong>at the DaVinci Science Center in Allentown.<\/p>\n

“Sips & Science” offers a special opportunity to experience the wonder of the DaVinci Science Center\u2019s exhibits after hours, all while supporting the Junior League\u2019s mission to advance women\u2019s leadership and tackle critical community issues. For more than 80 years, the League has had a proud history of making a positive impact in the Lehigh Valley. At the heart of the JLLVPA\u2019s work is action\u2014whether through initiatives like the Backpack Giveback program, awarding scholarships to young leaders, or distributing meals to families in need.<\/p>\n

In addition to fueling our mission, this event celebrates a historic partnership. In 1989, the JLLVPA played a pivotal role in supporting the project that would later become the DaVinci Science Center. By hosting the 5th annual Party with a Purpose at DaVinci, the League is honoring our shared dedication to curiosity, education, and community enrichment.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/em>Sips & Science: A Party with a Purpose brings together what we value as an organization: community collaboration, connection, and lasting impact,\u201d said Katie Jones, President of the Junior League of the Lehigh Valley. \u201c<\/em>Hosting this event at the DaVinci Science Center is especially meaningful given our role in bringing it to life. This event is more than a night out; it is an investment in the future of our community, with proceeds supporting programs that address educational disparities and empower women to drive positive change.\u201d<\/p>\n
