{"id":148006,"date":"2026-03-09T22:08:16","date_gmt":"2026-03-10T02:08:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=148006"},"modified":"2026-03-09T22:16:38","modified_gmt":"2026-03-10T02:16:38","slug":"148006","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=148006","title":{"rendered":"Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania Opens Registration for Historic Lehigh Valley Camp and Announces New Upgrades"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsep.org\/\">Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania<\/a>\u00a0(GSEP)\u00a0has officially opened registration for its camp properties, including Camp Mountain House\u00a0\u2013 the\u00a0nonprofit\u2019s\u00a0only outdoor property in the Lehigh Valley and second-oldest camp\u00a0that has\u00a0welcomed\u00a0campers\u00a0for more than 80 years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Located just outside of Allentown<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsep.org\/en\/members\/for-girl-scouts\/camp-and-outdoors\/our-camp-locations\/camp-mountain-house.html\">Camp Mountain House<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0offers eight weeks of day camp each summer for girls in grades K\u201312, providing hands-on experiences that\u00a0foster\u00a0independence, teamwork, and leadership development in an outdoor setting.<\/p>\n<p>Exciting additions are also underway at Camp Mountain House\u00a0this summer, with\u00a0GSEP\u00a0building\u00a0the\u00a0Girl Adventure Place\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0a new lodge set to open this summer\u00a0that will\u00a0expand year-round programming opportunities for girls in Lehigh County.
