I am ready to work with my fellow members to develop\u00a0legislation on these important issues. This legislation will address the needs and quality of life of the people I represent in Leigh County.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI especially look forward to continuing my work in affordable housing with the Housing &amp; Community Development Committee. In serving on this committee, I will apply my experience from working with Allentown Blueprint Communities. I am committed to providing resources for first-time homebuyers and improving financial literacy, as well as implementing regulations for landlords.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to receiving these committee assignments, she was welcomed into the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pahouse.com\/Tiburcio\/InTheNews\/NewsRelease\/?id=142851\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/pahouse.com\/Tiburcio\/InTheNews\/NewsRelease\/?id%3D142851&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1775093646922000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1wUgprdsFM7i4OHTusqQ_J\">PA Legislative Latino Caucus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Tiburcio was sworn in Monday, March 23 to fill the seat vacated by Josh Siegel after he resigned to become Lehigh County executive.
