WHITEHALL, PA \u2013 April 2026\u00a0\u2013 On the evening of Tuesday, March 31, the Whitehall Township Public Library hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking to officially kick off a series of transformative building improvements. The event was well attended by township leadership and community supporters, marking the start of a year-long initiative to modernize the facility.<\/p>\n
The ceremony featured\u00a0Mayor Joseph J. Marx, Jr., President of the Board of Commissioners\u00a0Jeffrey J. Warren, and Township Commissioners\u00a0Taylor Stakes\u00a0and\u00a0Ken Snyder. They joined the entire Library Board of Trustees, led by Board President\u00a0Denise Shaffer, to celebrate the library\u2019s investment in the community\u2019s future.<\/p>\n

Circulation Desk Replacement: A full replacement of the main circulation desk to create a more efficient and welcoming service hub.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
