Lehigh Valley, PA \u2013 April 9, 2026<\/strong>, –\u00a0The Board of Directors of Pinebrook Family Answers is proud to announce the appointment of Kathleen Trimble as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Trimble has been a key member of Pinebrook\u2019s leadership team for more than 13 years, beginning her tenure as Director of Development and assuming increasing responsibility over time, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, she has strengthened organizational systems, supported program growth, and helped ensure that Pinebrook\u2019s services remain responsive, trauma\u2011informed, and community\u2011centered. A graduate of Lehigh University, Trimble entered the nonprofit sector after owning and operating Duggan Resources, LLC, a search and placement firm specializing in finance and investment banking. A resident of the Lehigh Valley for more than 30 years and an active community leader, she has served as Interim CEO since January. Her steady leadership, deep institutional knowledge, and strong commitment to Pinebrook\u2019s mission have positioned the organization for continued stability and growth during a time of transition.<\/p>\n

\u201cKathy is the right leader for this moment and for our future,\u201d said Jane Brooks, Chair of the Pinebrook Family Answers Board of Directors. \u201cHer compassion, integrity, and experience in nonprofits make her uniquely equipped to guide our staff, support our clients, and carry forward the mission that has defined Pinebrook for almost 50 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

This leadership transition comes at a meaningful moment for Pinebrook. Earlier this year, the organization experienced the unexpected loss of its CEO, Mike Shaffer, whose decades of service and unwavering dedication shaped Pinebrook\u2019s mission and impact. His legacy of compassion, integrity, and commitment to strengthening families continues to guide the organization forward.<\/p>\n
