Violinists Nick Kendall and Charles Yang, and double bassist Ranaan Meyer blend classical precision with the spirit of Americana, bluegrass, jazz, and rock, creating performances that are electrifying.<\/p>\n<p>Presented as part of the Bach Choir\u2019s\u00a0<strong>Outside the Bachs<\/strong>\u00a0series, this performance explores how the influence of Johann Sebastian Bach continues to resonate far beyond the Baroque era. Time for Three\u2019s innovative programming reimagines Bach\u2019s legacy through a contemporary lens, weaving together classical works with original compositions and unexpected musical influences.<\/p>\n<p>This crossover program connects the music of J.S. Bach with Time for Three\u2019s wide-ranging repertoire, moving between classical and contemporary influences. The trio brings together unexpected mixes, blending the brilliance of Bach with inspirations as varied as\u00a0Guns N\u2019 Roses\u00a0and\u00a0Gustav Mahler, creating a setlist that highlights both contrast and connection across centuries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/t.e2ma.net\/click\/0wt73h\/w9c03dnd\/0sae5m\">118th Bethlehem Bach Festival<\/a>\u00a0(May 7-10)<\/strong>\u00a0is the culminating celebration of our season \u2013 a cherished homecoming that brings audiences together in the heart of historic Bethlehem. Continuing the new four-day Festival format we introduced last year, this expanded celebration marks the 250th anniversary of our nation\u2019s founding by honoring the Moravian musical heritage that helped shape the Bach Choir. With performances of music from the Moravian archives, insights from distinguished scholars, and collaborations with Moravian partners both in the Lehigh Valley and abroad, this year\u2019s Festival invites us to reflect on where we came from and why it matters.
