Looking for a unique way to celebrate your mom this Mother\u2019s Day (or as a mother, maybe yourself)?<\/p>\n
Then join us for the inaugural \u201cFlowers, Fireflies & Finds: A Mother\u2019s Day Flower Show\u201d taking place in The Ballroom at the Mauch Chunk Museum & Cultural Center! The Flower Show will run on both Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 1pm to 5pm. The fee is $5 to enter and moms are FREE! (The first 25 moms in the doors on both days will receive a special gift!)<\/p>\n
Come experience our transformed Victorian Ballroom which will showcase beautiful floral and greenery arrangements while also viewing \u201cEternity\u201d – the world\u2019s largest painting by world-renowned artist, Ibiyinka Alao!<\/p>\n
While there, let Mom treat herself to a variety of goodies from arranging her own bouquet of fresh flowers, indulging in a variety of mini-spa treatments, to a selection of goat\u2019s milk soaps and lotions. Enjoy treats with the fresh coffee catering bar or a delicious glass of wine, various bites, and let her finish her tour by visiting several other amazing vendors. Oh, and if Mom can\u2019t make it, feel free to stop by for her to browse and pick up a goody or two!<\/p>\n
The icing on the cake is an exclusive and intimate painting session with Ibiyinka! Enjoy a cup of coffee or sip on a glass of wine while Ibiyinka walks you through a 30-minute workshop where you\u2019ll get the chance to paint one of his beautiful and unique flowers similar to ones he uses in his own giant painting! The cost for each session is $25 per person with workshops at 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm and 4:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
