EASTON, Pa. \u2014\u00a0<\/strong>The planning committee for the 2026 Eastern PA Greenways & Trails Summit has\u00a0extended the deadline for\u00a0presentation proposals for this year\u2019s event, scheduled for Sept. 16\u201318 in Bethlehem.<\/p>\n

Members of the regional\u00a0trails\u00a0community are invited to contribute to three days of speakers, breakout\u00a0sessions\u00a0and discussions on leading topics in greenways and trail development. Proposals are now due\u00a0Friday, May 8,\u00a02026\u00a0and can be\u00a0submitted\u00a0online at\u00a0delawareandlehigh.org\/2026-eastern-pennsylvania-greenways-trails-summit\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Summit will bring together\u00a0trail,\u00a0greenway\u00a0and community leaders for three days of learning,\u00a0collaboration\u00a0and exploration in the heart of historic Bethlehem. Set against the Lehigh Valley\u2019s natural landscapes and Bethlehem\u2019s vibrant downtown, the event offers opportunities to connect with peers, expand professional knowledge and celebrate the region\u2019s trail focused achievements.<\/p>\n

Presentation proposals should align with one of four categories: Policies and Planning, Community and Access,\u00a0Funding\u00a0and Impact, or\u00a0Local and Heritage Highlights. Organizers will also consider proposals outside these categories and encourage creativity. Presenters may select a session format that best fits their content. Standard sessions are 60 or\u00a090 minutes.<\/p>\n
