Each dessert will be judged by a panel of local baking professionals, including Richard Groman Jr. of the Groman\u2019s Bakery family and Bethany Carrigan from King Arthur Baking Co. The public will be able to speak with the bakers, hear the origins of their recipes and sample all of the desserts. In addition, Carrigan will answer their most challenging baking questions during a special Q&amp;A session.<\/p>\n<p>Baking Challenge finalists are:<\/p>\n<p>Michele Bernardich, Whitehall<br \/>\nMichael Brolly, Bethlehem<br \/>\nHannah Hoch, Nazareth<br \/>\nSarah Keppel, Easton<br \/>\nRyan Lichty, Bethlehem<br \/>\nPatty Morgenstern, Bangor<br \/>\nAmita Pallod, Breinigsville<br \/>\nJudith Sabino, Coopersburg<br \/>\nAllison Shook, Bethlehem<br \/>\nAlyssa Wolfe, Quakertown<\/p>\n<p>Baking Challenge finalists were selected from entries submitted during the first round of the competition at Historic Bethlehem Community Heritage Day on April 18. All of their desserts will be judged based on taste and flavor, technique and execution, dessert presentation and the story they share with the audience; culinary and baking-related prizes will be presented to the top three finishers.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for the Baking Challenge are $5 for ages 13 and older and free for ages 12 and under. Tickets include admission that day to the Baked into Bethlehem exhibition at Moravian Museum and Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts.
