Carbon County, PA \u2013 <\/strong>The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC), proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce an upcoming\u00a0educational briefing in partnership with Penn\u2019s Northeast focused on site selection, regional collaboration, and economic development strategy. \u201cUnderstanding Site Selection in our Region\u201d will be hosted on Tuesday, May 12 at Trailside Events from 11:30 AM \u2013 1 PM.<\/p>\n

Designed for municipal leaders, engineers, real estate professionals, developers, planners, consultants, and other stakeholders involved in community and business growth, this informative session will provide valuable insight into the tools, partnerships, and processes that help position Northeastern Pennsylvania\u00a0\u2014 including Carbon County \u2014 for investment and opportunity.<\/p>\n

The session will offer attendees an inside look at Penn\u2019s Northeast, the regional economic development marketing organization serving Northeastern Pennsylvania, and the role they play in supporting business attraction, expansion, and site selection efforts throughout the region.<\/p>\n

Participants will gain a better understanding of how site selectors and companies evaluate communities and properties, the importance of regional collaboration in attracting investment, and how local professionals can better utilize available resources, data, and partnerships to support projects, clients, and long-term community planning efforts.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis program is really about helping our local leaders and professionals better understand the bigger picture of how economic development and site selection work behind the scenes,\u201d said Kylie Adams-Weiss, Senior Vice President of the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation. \u201cWhether you\u2019re involved in municipal leadership, infrastructure, real estate, planning, or business development, these conversations are incredibly important as we continue working together to position Carbon County for thoughtful, strategic growth and investment.\u201d<\/p>\n

The program is intended to foster stronger regional collaboration while providing practical, real-world insight into the economic development process and the factors that influence business attraction and expansion decisions.<\/p>\n
