Poll workers play a critical role in ensuring elections run smoothly by assisting voters, managing check-in processes, and helping facilitate the voting experience at polling locations across the County.<\/p>\n
Poll workers are also responsible for closing out the polling place at the end of the night and returning materials to the Elections Office. The County relies on these individuals to uphold fair, accurate, and secure elections.<\/p>\n
All poll workers are required to attend a mandatory training this Saturday, May 16 and are compensated for both training and service. Workers may earn between $175 and $200 on Election Day, depending on assignment and training. Election Day typically runs from 6:30 a.m. until after polls close at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
