This was the school\u2019s fifth visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with Disney Performing Arts.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Nazareth Marching Band Students Become Stars of<br \/>\nTheir Own Disney Show with Performance at Walt Disney World Resort<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Nazareth Area High School honors international veterans,<br \/>\ntakes part in Disney Performing Arts programs at Magic Kingdom<\/em><\/p>\n<p>LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (May 9, 2016) \u2013 <strong>Nazareth Area High School (Penn.) <\/strong>students entertained thousands of Walt Disney World Resort guests with their performance at Magic Kingdom on May 6.<\/p>\n<p>The students took part in a special parade that honored competitors from the Invictus Games Orlando 2016, the only international adaptive sporting event for injured active duty and veteran service members, which takes place May 8-12 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.<\/p>\n<p>The Nazareth Area High School &#8220;Blue Eagle&#8221; Marching Band students, alongside director Brad Boandl, marched down iconic Main Street, U.S.A., past Cinderella\u2019s Castle playing songs, such as God Bless America, that captured the spirit of Americana.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m pretty excited, and the kids wanted to go to Disney,\u201d Boandl said. \u201cI hope they get the experience of being an official Disney performer for the day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The group of 85 students traveled more than a thousand miles from Pennsylvania to Florida to participate in the popular program. This was the school\u2019s fifth visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with Disney Performing Arts.<\/p>\n<p>Vocal, instrumental and dance ensembles from all around the world apply to perform each year as part of Disney Performing Arts at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Once selected, they are given the opportunity to perform amongst an international audience of Disney theme park guests.
