For the last few months LV Zoo has been working with local schools &amp; businesses to raise the needed funds to bring in 2 Masai Giraffes. More additions this year will be a Turtle Pond &amp; Donkeys. Any additional funds raised above what is needed for the giraffe exhibit will be applied to the full 3-year Capital Campaign to develop Africa-based exhibits which include Lions, Hyrax, Wildebeest, and walk thru Leopard and Aldabra Tortoise exhibit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Mark your calendars for May 21 \u2013 World Turtle Day\/ Turtle Pond Grand Opening<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">\u00a0Who likes the antics of penguins, I do, that&#8217;s who. You can now view them online &amp; on your smart phone via the penguin cam.
